20.06 saturday. The journey begins...

20.06.2015
The wind: NW
We started our sail trip! At 18:50, during the rite of Kupala Night we left the Wolin Marine. The ritual’s leader blessed us and wished great weather and wind. Also, we had been cheered up by not-so-small group of turists.
The day before (friday) we dedicated for preparations. We didn’t know much about the time of sailing away. Maybe next day, maybe next week? We anxiously watched the ridiculus weather that seemed to be playing with us. Wrong wind, rain, sun, again rain, storm, seriously, weather? So, we were preparing and preparing, and preparing: placing in boat our stock of food, packing our equipment to the horrible marine-sacks (they ARE horrible, you cannot find anything in it! But, they are water proof, pfff). We’ve left everything what was contemporary. We’ve stayed only in early medieval clothes (except of underwear, douh).
Later, we'd got lesson about safety. It was very serious thing: we learned how to act in case of emergency. Personally, I was terrified and strangely boosted.
After that we went to our boat - Eagle of Jumne. The night have just started. We sat there, talking about sail, saying our little (big) wishes and supporting them by drinking honey.

Well, that propably worked, because today weather is much better (more sun than rain) and we are just about to leave the Dziwna River and enter the Szczecin Lagoon!
Now, we are waiting what will come!
